Smooth thigh skin after cellulite treatment in Orlando

Non-Surgical Cellulite Treatment in Orlando

Cellulite affects up to 90% of women, no matter their weight or fitness level. At LightTouch Med Spa in Orlando, we treat cellulite from the inside out with hyperdiluted Radiesse®, a collagen-stimulating injectable that firms and smooths dimpled skin on the thighs, buttocks, and hip dips without surgery.

Radiesse is best known as a dermal filler for the cheeks and jawline. When it is diluted, it works as a biostimulator, signaling your body to build new collagen and elastin where the skin has become thin and dimpled. The result is firmer, smoother-looking skin that keeps improving for months, with little to no downtime. It is the same collagen-building approach we use with Sculptra® for the face.

What Is Hyperdiluted Radiesse?

Radiesse is made of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a smooth gel. Mixing it with saline creates a thinner, more fluid version that spreads evenly across larger areas of the body. Instead of adding volume, it acts as a scaffold that stimulates your own collagen production.

How Do Biostimulators Work?

After treatment, the CaHA microspheres activate fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen and elastin. Over the following weeks and months, the skin becomes thicker and firmer, which helps lift the dimples and depressions that make cellulite visible. Most patients need a series of two to three sessions spaced several weeks apart.

Benefits of Radiesse for Cellulite

  • Smooths the look of dimpled skin on the thighs, buttocks, and hips
  • Can soften hip dips and improve skin laxity
  • Builds your own collagen for natural-looking, gradual results
  • Non-surgical, with no incisions and minimal downtime
  • Results can last a year or longer with maintenance
  • Can be combined with Kybella® for stubborn fat under the chin, or with our other body treatments

Who Is a Good Candidate?

You may be a good candidate if you have mild to moderate cellulite, crepey or loose skin on the thighs or buttocks, or hip dips you would like to soften. Results are best when you are close to a stable weight. This treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have an active skin infection in the area. Using Radiesse for cellulite is an off-label use, so our injectors will walk you through what to expect at your consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions About Cellulite Treatment

What causes cellulite?

Cellulite forms when fibrous bands under the skin pull down while fat pushes up, creating a dimpled look. Hormones, genetics, thinning skin, and loss of collagen with age all play a role.

How does Radiesse treat cellulite?

Hyperdiluted Radiesse stimulates new collagen and elastin, which thickens and firms the skin. Firmer skin helps smooth the dimples and depressions caused by cellulite.

How many sessions will I need?

Most patients need two to three sessions spaced several weeks apart. Your provider will create a plan based on your skin and goals.

When will I see results?

Collagen builds gradually. Many patients notice smoother skin within a few weeks, with continued improvement over three to six months.

How long do results last?

Results commonly last a year or longer. Maintenance sessions can help keep your skin firm and smooth.

Is there downtime?

There is little to no downtime. You may have mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising for a few days. Avoid intense exercise for 24 to 48 hours.

Is Radiesse for cellulite FDA approved?

Radiesse is FDA approved as a dermal filler. Using a hyperdiluted form to improve cellulite and skin quality on the body is an off-label use that our trained injectors will discuss with you.

Can Radiesse help with hip dips?

Yes. Many patients use Radiesse to soften the appearance of hip dips. Your provider will advise whether diluted or less-diluted product is best for your goals.
